Nose to Tail AKA FAQ
How many dogs attend Dogville daily? On average, 12.
Is there an outdoor space?
Yes, there is a small fenced in yard that they have access to throughout the day.
What kind of friends will my dog meet?
A regular roster consists of a Basset, a wheaton, a Lab, and a couple of mixed breeds. Often there will also be a couple of Belgian tervurens, a golden, a weimeraner, a boxer, an English
mastiff and an American bulldog.
What do the dogs do all day?
It depends on the dog, some are happy to intersperse their napping with play, while others need to be told to take a rest from wrestling and running.
How are the dogs' temperaments screened?
The dog is first introduced to each dog individually and then allowed to join the pack at his leisure. Some are giddy at the possibility of interacting with others and rearing to go. Others sit and watch to gain the lay of the land before venturing into the fray. Dogs are dynamic; they're always being monitored for signs of over excitement and stress that may require management, such as a timeout.
What vaccines are required? Distemper and Rabies.
Are meals provided?
No, but if your dog needs to eat, please bring his dinner.
Should I bring toys or a bed?
No, Dogville already has them.
